My Important Opinion That Is Very Important, Oh Yes:

Every student in the US education system should be required to take at least one course in general anthropology. Anthropological thinking and perspectives are incredibly valuable and useful, and there needs to be more of them. If, perhaps, school systems were to replace one year of whatever social studies in high school (which oh god gets repeated and rehashed so damn much; social studies, that is, not high school) with a year of anthro, I would be so happy. The biggest issue would be getting teachers who are qualified to teach anthro. If it could all be worked out in a non-shitty way, I really feel that this would be extremely beneficial to American students/the American populace as a whole.

Cultural relativism pls? And culture drift? And sex=/=gender? Kthx.
